Assault on a police officer, Holland Road: A prisoner is accused of damaging his jail cell at the Brook Park Police Department in an attempt to escape, then kicking a police officer who attempted to restrain him at 9:33 p.m. Aug. 22.

Personal injury, Pike Boulevard: A mail carrier was injured when a dog broke through a home’s window, shattering glass in the carrier’s direction, at 1:29 p.m. Aug. 26.

Suspicion of drunken driving, Ohio 237: A man is charged with suspicion drunken driving after hitting a guardrail at 11:06 p.m. Aug. 24. The man is also accused of attempting to flee by jumping over the side of a bridge, but he injured himself while doing so.

Burglary, Pickway Drive: An unknown person entered a woman’s home and stole a 55-inch TV, a video game system, a laptop, an Amazon Kindle, and other items between 10:45 a.m. and 4:02 p.m. Aug. 22.

Motor vehicle theft, Brookpark Road: A man’s 1998 Jeep was stolen while it was parked outside Brookpark Skateland between 5:45 a.m. and 6:27 p.m. Aug. 24.

Theft, Westbrook Drive: An unknown person stole a man’s 2013 Suzuki ATV from his front yard between 3 p.m. and 5:40 p.m. Aug. 24.

Theft, Snow Road: A cut-off saw, a knee kicker, a right angle grinder and other tools worth a combined $1,515 were stolen from a man’s truck sometime between 7 p.m. Aug. 23 and 8:15 a.m. Aug. 24.

Theft, Holland Road: A man’s debit card was stolen sometime between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Aug. 25 and used to withdraw an undisclosed amount of cash.

Harassment, Sylvia Drive: A woman reported at 3:45 p.m. Aug. 25th that she’d received a harassing phone call from an ex-boyfriend.

Criminal damaging, Sylvia Drive: An unknown person spray-painted a bathroom stall in the men’s room at Kennedy Park.

Theft, Cynthia Drive: A bicycle was reported stolen from a home at 9:53 p.m. Aug. 24.

Drunkenness, West 130th Street: A man is accused of being drunk and causing a disturbance at Speedway at 7:11 p.m. Aug. 23. The man was also found in possession of two 3-inch knives.

Breaking and entering, Southway Drive: An unknown person entered a vacant home through a window and stole copper fittings sometime before 5:49 p.m. Aug. 21.

Theft, West 130th Street: A woman is accused of being in possession of a stolen cell phone at 10:05 p.m. Aug. 22.

Harassment, West 147th Street: A man reported at 11:48 a.m. Aug. 21 that he’d received threatening text messages from his ex-girlfriend.

Trespassing, Cambridge Drive: A man was arrested at 2:19 p.m. Aug. 22 after refusing to leave a woman’s property when he’d been asked to do so.

Curfew, Brookpark Road: Two boys were found outside Ganley Chevrolet past curfew at 12:09 p.m. Aug. 23.

Found property, Champaign Avenue: A woman reported at 11:35 p.m. Aug. 28 that she’d found a gold-colored necklace, bracelet, watch and coin in an empty garbage container.

Identity theft, Shelby Drive: A woman reported at 7:09 p.m. Aug. 27 that an unknown person used her Social Security number to open obtain telephone service.

Shoplifting, Snow Road: A GetGo employee reported at 12:02 p.m. Aug. 26 that an unknown man entered the store earlier that day and stole 50 cigarette lighters.

Theft, Christine Boulevard: A woman reported at 1:55 p.m. Aug. 17 that her cell phone had been stolen sometime in the past week.

Theft, Holland Road: A man reported at 7:11 a.m. Aug. 28 that power tools had been stolen from his unlocked work van sometime overnight.

Forgery, Snow Road: A man reported at 12:37 p.m. Aug. 25 that an unknown person stole his check, altered it and attempted to cash it at Fifth Third Bank.

Trespassing, Brookpark Road: An unknown person removed scrap metal and light fixtures from a Shell gas station, then left them behind Bob Evan’s sometime before 6:47 a.m. Aug. 26.

Criminal damaging, Brookpark Road: A man reported at 12:07 p.m. Aug. 23 that someone broke his car’s window while it was parked outside Best Value Inn.

Property damage, West 161st Street: A car’s window was shattered sometime between 1:30 p.m. and 3:20 p.m. Aug. 27.

Theft, Snow Road: A woman reported that her credit card had been stolen sometime between 7:30 p.m. Aug. 23 and 9 a.m. Aug. 25.

Theft, Hummel Road: A man’s wallet was stolen from his car sometime between midnight and 9 a.m. Aug. 25.

Criminal mischief, Sylvia Drive: Graffiti was found on the concession stand at Kennedy Park at 1:47 a.m. Aug. 26.

Criminal damaging, Sheldon Road: A car’s window had been pried open and its ignition switch had been pried from the steering column sometime before 8:35 a.m. Aug. 27.

Identity theft, Ashland Drive: A man reported at 9:52 a.m. Aug. 27 that someone used his personal information to take out a loan.

Theft, Snow Road: A man’s mountain bicycle was stolen from the back of his truck sometime before 2:51 p.m. Aug. 23.
