UFC 185 has added an exciting matchup in the flyweight division between former title challenger Chris Cariaso and the undefeated Henry Cejudo.

According to reports, a key matchup in the UFC’s flyweight division has been added to the UFC 185 fight card which will take place on March 14 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

Undefeated prospect Henry Cejudo, who became the youngest American to win a gold medal in freestyle wrestling at the Olympics, will be taking on former title challenger Chris Cariaso.

The report comes from Indiscutido.com.

There is no word on bout placement for the flyweight matchup.

With the flyweight division lacking healthy challengers, UFC 185 will provide Cejudo with a great opportunity to work his way in the title picture. If Cejudo can successful make weight and then score an impressive victory over Cariaso, he could earn a booking opposite Demetrious Johnson sooner rather than later.

It will be Cejudo’s UFC flyweight debut, after he missed weight. Cejudo was then victorious at 135 pounds and will now get an chance to prove he can make flyweight.

Headlining UFC 185 will be a lightweight title fight between current champion Anthony Pettis and challenger Rafael dos Anjos. The only other fight to be reported for the event is a heavyweight scrap between Roy “Big Country” Nelson and Alistair Overeem.
